News!

On my last blog, I had several contests! A contest I had was Writer's Den like on Fantage! The winning story is by TruBlue12! This last week's theme was Back To School Jitters! Check it out!


Back To School- Oh No!
I woke up in my moon bunkbed, really tired! Then I realized it! Oh no! It was the the first day of school! I heard my mother's shoes coming up the stairs. "Mary Jane! Time to get ready for school! You don't want to be late do you?" she called. I pulled my blankets over my head, hoping my mom wouldn't find me. "I see you Mary Jane. Now quit horse playing! Get up!" she yelled. "Noo! Mom I don't want to. School is terrible! It's horrid!" I cried. My dog jumped on my face and gave me licks. Mom then pulled the blankets off of me and said, "If your not up 10 minutes, your going to be in trouble young lady!" She stomped back down the stairs. I jumped up because when my mom got that tone, she meant business! I sadly put on my worst clothes, messly did my hair in a bun, and slumped down the stairs. "Okay, Mary! Now hurry and eat your breakfast!" I slurped on my cereal. I walked slowly to our car and pouted the whole way to the school. "See! It's not too bad!" Mom said happily. I just groaned! I walked up the stairs and into my room. The next thing I knew, the principal was talking to me! "Class meet your new student, Mary!" The class nodded. I looked around and saw something that made my heart hop up with joy. Hannah! My best friend from my old school. I stole a seat next to her and we talked until the teacher came! I knew this school year was going to be great!
